Charles W. "Charlie" King, III

Charlie King is Vice-President of King Asset Management. His responsibilities include acquisition and leasing management for the commercial portfolio. Prior to KAM, Mr. King spent eight years with King & Lyons and Prologis where he was involved in the development and leasing of the 250 acre Bayside Business Park. He acted as a real estate consultant to SteriGenics, Inc., focusing on site selection and project management for their facilities in California, New Jersey, Florida, and Thailand. Charlie received his MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder and his BS in Economics from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo.

Michael J. King

Michael King is Vice-President of King Asset Management. His responsibilities include asset management, construction management, and leasing for the commercial portfolio. Prior to joining KAM Michael spent four years with Ventana Property Services, Inc. in their commercial group. His responsibilities included property management, construction management, leasing and acquisitions. In addition, Michael spent six years with Union Bank as a real estate construction lender. Michael received his BS in Economics from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo.

Tom Sorenson

Tom Sorenson is President and CEO of King Asset Management and Trustee of various King Family Trusts. Prior to joining the King Group in 1981, he worked with real estate operators, syndicators and developers. Mr. Sorenson is a Certified Public Accountant. He attended the University of Arizona and earned National Honors on the CPA exam.

Sam Hawkes

Sam Hawkes is treasurer and CFO of King Asset Management. He came from Earnst & Young in 1998. Prior to joining Earnst & Young, he was a financial analyst for Applied Materials. He received his BS, Cum Laude, from San Jose State University.

Charles W. “Chuck” King, Jr.

RIP (April 18, 1935 – August 3, 2017) – Chuck King has been involved in the development of over 150 buildings in seven states, Taiwan, and Thailand. Mr. King has been an active venture capital investor for several years. He was the founder, major shareholder, and Chairman of the Board of SteriGenics International, a contract sterilizer of medical disposables and other products. Mr. King received his M.S. and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Dartmouth College.
